Lecture:  “Consumer Couture: The Politics of Having”

Charlotte Kruk ARtist and Sculpture Arts Education will be sharing her latest exhibition on view at the Racine Art Museum in Wisconsin.  This year long installation features Kruk’s signature style of “wearable sculpture” in 6 storytelling window vignettes.  The provocative title; “Consumer Couture; The Politics of Having” addresses Kruk’s use of post-consumer trash, upcycling the forgotten packaging of our sanitary culture into commentary about our decadent waste.
