Half-day Workshop:  Choosing Fabric to Match the Design 0215 Mary Ray-FINAL_Page_1_Image_0001

Every fabric has its unique properties—some we love and some not so much. Understanding a fabric’s characteristics is essential to the success of a garment. It’s the most important ingredient.  A great piece of fabric can stand on its own in a simple, classic design.  But sometimes it’s fun to add some spice and turn it into something unexpected.  Learn how to conquer and manipulate a variety of fabrics to stretch their possibilities and learn when to “listen” to your fabric and let it do what it wants to do.
